Kelli Anderson’s paper gadgets and pop-up books approach graphic design as a fine art

Graphic designer and paper engineer Kelli Anderson joined us on the Nicer Tuesdays stage in New York City in a Q&A with Elizabeth Goodspeed to talk about her latest book Alphabet in Motion, an inventive, interactive pop-up book made entirely out of paper, along with her history with tactile typography. Kelli’s previous books include This Book is a Camera, a working 4x5 camera made from paper and This Book is a Planetarium, a publication that unfolds into a whole host of paper gadgets – and Kelli dives into her interest in Riso and hints at her upcoming project: a paper record player.
