Morag Myerscough brings colour to the cranes of Greenwich Peninsula

Date
14 March 2016

Greenwich Peninsula developer Knight Dragon has commissioned British artist Morag Myerscough to create a series of vibrant colourways for the many cranes that adorn the area’s skyline.

Forming part of a series of art-led public realm commissions by Knight Dragon, including Alex Chinneck’s A Bullet from a Shooting Star, the Supergrouplondon co-founder will apply her passion for creating visually stimulating places to the developer’s desire to “animate and enliven” the Peninsula skyline as they continue to regenerate the area.

To celebrate the launch of Colourblock Cranes Morag will be discussing the importance of colour in her work at the peninsula’s Now Gallery with its curator Jemima Burrill on 21 April.
