Politically-minded visual artist Bob & Roberta Smith is a man who champions social responsibility, creativity and freedom of speech. At Here 2016 he gave two impassioned speeches sharing the names and work of artists and journalists persecuted, imprisoned and killed around the world for daring to dissent or speak out.
This was a beautifully analogue and lively talk, encouraging audience participation through the use of a lot of props and a hell of a lot of passion for his topic. Everyone left feeling – all together now – BOBTIMISTIC!
Here is a fast-paced annual creative symposium curated by It’s Nice That. To stay up to date with Here announcements you can sign up to our newsletter at here-london.com, follow us on Twitter or like our Facebook page.
