Sick of getting lost at Notting Hill Carnival? Trippin’s map is here to help
For the Carnival’s 50th anniversary event, the travel platform has created a map that lets you plan your route even when you have no signal.
It may feel like no Notting Hill Carnival experience is complete without getting seriously lost at some point. But does this really have to be the way? Trippin doesn’t think so. Following on from the success of its own map launched last year, the independent platform that “connects travel, culture and creativity” has now collaborated with the carnival to create a map that helps you navigate the vast event, and even plan your own personalised route.
Available to download on your phone, the map has a pin drop of every single sound system, stage and cultural site as well the carnivals two safe spaces. It also has a feature that allows you to plan the top five places you want to tick off, helping you to plan your own route. Not only does the map provide geographical information, each pin tells the story of the location, and gives a breakdown of the genres you can expect to hear. To really top things off, the map is even available in offline mode, accounting for the lack of signal many Carnival-goers often experience.
