In a surprise move FKA twigs has released a new EP and film project titled M3LL155X featuring five tracks and four surreal films directed by the UK artist. Recorded in just a few days with producer Boots only a handful of months after her debut album, the EP features collaborations with tic and Cy An, and the film project features Rick Owens’ other half, Michèle Lamy. The audio-visual project confirms twigs as one to keep watching, and is fronted by surreal artwork created by Matthew Stone, the artist and photographer who shot her first magazine cover for i-D back in 2012.
